Bernard Lewis (London, 31. 5. 1916. – 19. 5. 2018.), britansko-američki historičar, orijentalist, profesor i autor, ekspert za islamistiku i historiju islama, koji je u drugoj polovici 20. vijeka sagradio reputaciju jednog od najvećih autoriteta za historiju islama i Osmanskog Carstva na Zapadu. Lewis, čijim su se savjetima služile brojne američke administracije u kreiranju politike prema Bliskom istoku, je također poznat po polemici sa palestinskim historičarem Edwardom Saidom povodom njegove knjige Orijentalizam, kao i kontroverzama vezanim uz stav da pokolji Armenaca od strane Osmanskog Carstva u Prvom svjetskom ratu nisu predstavljali genocid.
