De tonijnvisser Mike Mascarenhas trouwt met Quita, de dochter van een verongelukte matroos. Hij is zijn hand verloren, toen hij zijn bootsman Pipes Boley moest redden. Als Mike erachter komt dat Quita verliefd is op Pipes, besluit hij hem te vermoorden.
