Washington Township is one of fourteen townships in Shelby County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,237 and it contained 520 housing units.[4]

Washington Township was organized in 1845.[5]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 34.76 square miles (90.0 km2), all land.[4]
