It includes following districts:
- Vadodara
- Mahisagar
- Anand (called Charotar)[1]
- Kheda
- Panchmahal
- Dahod
- Chhota Udaipur
- Ahmedabad
The population of this region is 21,221,431 people according to the 2011 Census of India.
